New Day Contemporary Worship

Baptisms The service of Holy Baptism is offered numerous times during the church year. Baptisms are held at the direction of the pastor. Please contact Pastor Ross if you are interested in scheduling a baptism. Confirmation Sunday This special service is held once a year during the month of May. The act of confirmation is the official entrance of the young person into formal congregational life. Three years of confirmation classes are completed before someone is confirmed. Pulpit Exchanges St. Peter’s participates with other churches within Manheim Township in a pulpit exchange. This allows pastors from different denominations to preach a sermon in another church. This exposure has proven beneficial to both pastors and congregations alike. Contemporary Services Offered every Sunday at 10:45. Featuring contemporary praise music and instrumentalists. Casual attire is welcome. Communion always served. New Day Contemporary Worship Service is offered every Sunday in our Family Life Center at the same time as our late Traditional Service.  New Day is a casual, upbeat worship service which features a Lutheran liturgy enhanced by a live praise band.   Come as you are, grab a cup of coffee and just be comfortable among friends.  The kids are welcome to enjoy our fun bags or dance in the aisles if they prefer. If you are more comfortable, there is Nursery service available for children 4 and younger (but we are just as happy to see the whole family together!). If you would like to be involved in the service in any way be it setting up beforehand, playing an instrument, reading a lesson or whatever else you can think of, please contact Pastor Craig A. Ross. Youth Services Once a year the youth of the church are responsible for the entire church service. This includes all aspects of the service usually with the sermon presented in skit format.
